Killeen Police are investigating a fatal auto pedestrian hit and run crash that occurred during the early morning hours on December 2.

Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit in the 1000 block of South State Highway 195 at 1:10 a.m.  Upon the officers arrival, they found a deceased black male lying in the inside lane of the northbound traffic.  Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin pronounced the 46-year-old victim deceased at 1:58 a.m. and ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
