The Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that was discovered on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, just before 1:30pm.

Officers responded to a 911 call at 1:23pm, telling them a citizen had located a motorcycle accident and two deceased people in a field area north of the intersection of Watercrest and Robinette.

Upon the officers arrival they found a deceased male and female in the field and a severely damaged orange and black Honda motorcycle a short distance away.

The preliminary investigation reveals that the two victims were traveling north on Robinette approaching Watercrest when the driver lost control of the motorcycle and failed to negotiate the turn onto Watercrest.

The motorcycle then went airborne flipping end over end ejecting the two victims causing them to come to rest in the field area north of Watercrest. The time of the crash is still to be determined at this time.

Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin pronounced the male deceased at 2:12pm and the female was pronounced deceased at 2:15pm. The victims’ identity is unknown at this time and investigators are asking anyone with information about this crash to contact the Killeen Police Department at 200-7905.

I like the way the I like the way the flagman keeps waivng them off with his hand, as if 1) they don't know what a guy holding a yellow flag means, and 2) the motorcyclist was going to instead DRIVE RIGHT´╗┐ OVER the injured guy and/or his bike. Was this answer helpful?
