Violent crimes down in Waco, 5th year in a row

According to a report compiled by the FBI, violent crime reports are down for the fifth year in a row in Waco.

72 less overall violent crimes were reported in 2011, as compared to 2010. While the number of reported murders, rapes, and robberies *rose in the past year, the number of aggravated assaults declined substantially. Property crimes declined as well.
