Waco police looking for shooting suspect

Waco police officers are looking for the supect or suspects involved in a weekend shooting that left a man injured after buying cigarettes.

According to police, at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday night, a black male, wearing a white hooded jacket and red shorts, approached a man walking to his car, outside of a cigarette store in the 1900 block of Park Lake Drive. The suspect approached the victim, Benjamin Fira, 22, on the passenger side of his car. The suspect then pointed a gun at Fira. Fira attempted to grab the gun, but the gun went off, causing a bullet to hit his hand.

The suspect then managed to get into a silver 2002 to 2005 model Continental and leave the scene. A witness believes another person was also inside the suspect's vehicle, driving.
