Killeen , tx — The city of Killeen is preparing to conduct a routine warrant round-up next month, in February. Arrests will be issued for those with outstanding warrants.
If you have an outstanding warrant, now would be a good time to go in and clear your name. And, the Killeen City Marshal is urging you to do so.
Anyone with a Killeen Municipal Court warrant needs to head over to the court immediately to resolve the citation and avoid being arrested during the warrant round-up.
City marshals and police officers will be out in force to make arrests on those who have warrants, beginning February 1. Those found in violation will be located, arrested, taken to jail, and arraigned. Special accommodations have been made in advance to handle the large number of arrests.
To clear a warrant, stop by in person to the Killeen Municipal Court, located at 200 East Avenue D, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those with warrants may pay in person via cash, money order, or Visa/Mastercard. No checks are allowed. You can also pay by phone at 1-888-462-1156. You can pay online at www.killeentexas.gov or www.officialpayments.com. Or, you can mail in a payment to the Killeen Municipal Court of Record, P.O. Box 1329, Killeen, Texas, 76540-1329.
