Waco police are still searching for the man who allegedly attempted to rob a Wing Stop employee at gunpoint over the weekend.

Waco Police Spokesman, Patrick Swanton, says the employee was outside dumping grease in the alley behind Wing Stop, located in the 200 block of South Second Street around 11:30 p.m. Sunday. The employee was reportedly approached by a white male, wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, with a dirty scruffy face. The man is said to have had his hands in his pockets like he had a gun.

"He walked up to the employee and told him, 'Give me everything you have or I'll kill you'," said Swanton.

The employee then used the grease pan he was holding to hit the man in the head. The man then reportedly "stumbled back and took off toward the river."

No arrests have been made, and there was no injury to the employee. Police are pursuing the case as an aggravated robbery.
